The Alchemy of Grief

How Loss Becomes Love

Sunday, April 26, 2026 8am hst

The unimagineable circumstances of death (endings) sends our body, mind and soul into shock and darkness.

And, simultaneously, brings a heightened sense of aliveness and light.

The paradox of holding both the darkness and light in vulnerability is the fertile ground to build on.

An Initiation to your Next Realm

Some experiences are turning points, moments that crack us open, and carry a devastation too vast to comprehend. What we've known is gone, lost or unattainable. Our familiar coping strategies fail us, leaving us suspended in disbelief, unable to move toward anything new.

In these times a piercing rawness cuts through to our soul, bringing an intense awakening. This rawness can also overwhelm, isoloate, and shut us down.

At this threshold, we’re invited to turn inward, to descend into the body, the place where our emotions first take shape…

where we can safely meet the full force of what we feel…

And from that grounded place, begin to offer ourselves tender, compassionate presence, a reconnection that softens the edges of our pain and makes space for the next steps of awakening.

The Many Forms of Endings

Whether physical or metaphorical, death asks us to let go, to grieve, and often to find truth in what remains. Death manifests in several forms:

  • A physical death
  • The end of a relationship (romantic, family, friendship)
  • Estrangement or permanent distance from someone
  • "Dying" to old patterns, shedding layers or ways of being
  • Disillusionment, loss of meaning or purpose
  • Loss of community or belonging, ostracism, grief of isolation

What if the deepest griefs - for people, dreams, identities, entire ways of being - carry profound gifts when we choose to be vulnerable in our darkest moments?

"Sharing sacred space with Katie as both peer and having her as a guide, I've witnessed and experienced how she embodies the divine feminine pathway with genuine authenticity and deep courage. Her power lies in her willingness to honor all facets of the human experience - especially grief and uncertainty - demonstrating how these become pathways to higher love when held with reverence. Katie's presence and guidance reminds us how to trust our own Sacred Inner Ground."
